Sensibilisation sur l’hygiène

Ce 26 Janvier 2020, ProGen a pris contact avec les élèves ressortissants de Sonri dans la commune de Nikki dans le cadre d’un partage d’informations sur l’hygiène menstruelle en milieu scolaire. Dans l’objectif de s’informer de leur situation, ProGen espère lancer un nouveau projet afin de pouvoir leur fournir des solutions adaptées à leur réalité. Restez à l’écoute !

2^e parution dans le journal Leadership and Civic Engagement

Le Journal Leadership And Civic Engagement dans sa parution du 24 Décembre 2019 s’est attelé à mettre en lumière le travail de ProGen Bénin à l’occasion de la deuxième édition du projet ‘’Enfance Epanouie’’ qui a eu lieu le Vendredi 20 Décembre 2019 à l’Ecole maternelle publique de Savi-Djègo dans la Commune de Ouidah. Cette initiative annuelle de ProGen consiste à fêter Noël avec les petits enfants dans le but de contribuer à leur épanouissement.

Forum pour une Révolution Verte en Afrique

Le thème de cette année était : « La croissance numérique : Tirer parti de la transformation numérique pour promouvoir des systèmes alimentaires durables en Afrique. »

Innover l’Education en Afrique

ProGen Benin était présent à la conférence de Innover l’Education en Afrique du 20 au 22 Août 2019 au Botswana, représentée par Ghislaine Akakpo, présidente et co-fondatrice, et Gregory Hemphill, le planificateur stratégique et co-fondateur de ProGen. Le thème retenu était « Exploiter la capacité des TIC pour assurer l’inclusion, la qualité et l’impact dans l’éducation et la formation en Afrique ».

MANDELA DAY

Pour célébrer Mandela Day le 18 Juillet 2019, Ghislaine Akakpo, Présidente de l’ONG ProGen Benin et Alumna Yali, et bien d’autres ont choisi de consacrer 2h au mentoring (écoute, conseils et orientation en tête à tête) des jeunes à la base d’appui au développement des artisans d’Akpakpa.
L’association US-BWAA fortement représentée était aux côtés de sa présidente Mme Grâce Boun.
